Following their recent purchase from Sinokor of Daewoo resale NB Hulls 5473, 5474 and 5475, Euronav has purchased Hull 5476 as well, price US$ 93 million, delivery 2/2021.
The Onassis Group has sold Aframax “OLYMPIC SEA” (104,808 tdw, Built 2008 SWS, MAN-B&W)  and sister “OLYMPIC SKY” (also built 2008) to Advantage Tankers for US$ 21.5 million apiece, on subjects.
LR1 “OCEAN SCHOONER” (73,083 tdw, Built 2000 Samsung, not coated, trading dirty, 12 tanks, 4 pumps, B&W) has obtained US$ 7.1 million, surveys due.
MR “PTI ORION” (51,218 tdw, Built 2006 STX, Korea, IMO III, epoxy, 12 tanks/pumps, MAN-B&W – ss due 9/2021) is sold to Chinese, price US$ 12.75 million.
Unicorn Shipping placed product carrier “RHINO” (39,710 tdw, Built 2010 SLS Shipbuilding, IMO II, epoxy, 12 tanks/pumps, MAN-B&W, 9,300 ldt) on the market for sale early last week, the vessel has quickly been committed together with sister vessel “INYALA” (40,037 dwt, Built SLS 2008) which had not been openly marketed. No figures have emerged so far, nor the Buyers’ identity).
Vintage Suezmax “FALCON PRIDE” (159,899 tdw, Built 1998 Daewoo, B&W – ss due 8/2023) has been sold mon subjects for US$ 14.7 million.

Sea World has reportedly concluded a sale of MR “SEA FAITH” (46,349 tdw, Built 2003 Hanjin H.I., 4 pumps, B&W) at US$ 11.2 million.
FGas, Vietnam is paying US$ 34 million for LPG carrier “GRACE RIVER” (77,747 cbm, 49,996 tdw, Built Kawasaki 2002, B&W, 17,633 ldt – ss due 10/2022, dd due 9/2020).
“TAKAO GAS” (75,358 cbm, Built Kawaskai 1993) is sold to Chinese, no price has emerged.
All components of the BDI were up this week – even Cape size. The overall BDI gained 82 points to 617 (535), the Cape daily t/c gained US$ 268 to US$ 2,542.
2006-built Kamsarmax “MEDI HONG KONG” (82,790 tdw, Built 2006 Tsuneishi Japan, MAN-B&W – ss/dd due 7/2020) has fetched US$ 9.25 million from S’hail Shipping of Qatar.
Indonesia-built Supramax “PACIFIC LIGHT” (50,198 tdw, Built 2007 PT Pal, cranes 4 x 35 tons, box holds, MAN-B&W, 10,632 ldt – ss due 12/2021, dd due 8/2020) has been concluded to Turkish buyers on BBHP terms with a purchase obligation; no figures available.
Two former Sanko OH type bulkcarriers with 8HH arrangement have been sold again, apparently a deal reported in mid February didn’t go through. “MARIANA” (50,655 tdw, Built 1998 Namura Shipbuilding, cranes 4 x 30 tons, Mitsubishi - 10,558 ldt) and sister “MOBILANA” have each obtained US$ 4 million. Last month’s deal was at US$ 5 million each.
In sales of handies, “UMM AD DALKH” (36,490 tdw, Built 2011 Hyundai Mipo, cranes 4 x 30 tons, MAN-B&W, 8,474 ldt – dd due 1/2021) has achieved in the high US$8 millions.
Her sister vessel, “SHAH” (36,490 tdw, Built 2010 Hyundai Mipo, cranes 4 x 30 tons, MAN-B&W – ss due 10/2020) has been sold for US$ 8.2 million.
Insolvency adminstrators called for offers this week for “LABRADOR STRAIT” (34,126 tdw, Built 2010 Seko Heavy Industries, Korea, cranes 4 x 30 tons, MAN-B&W – ss/dd due 8/2020). In the end the Owners, Carsten Rehder stepped in and bought the vessel back, paying US$ 6.85 million.
Small Handy, “MARTIGNY” (20,035 tdw, Built 2002 INP Heavy Industries, Korea, 4HH, cranes 3 x 30 tons,  MAN-B&W, 5,097 ldt) has been concluded at US$ 2.9 million with dd due.
Heavy lift type “BBC MICHIGAN” (12,767 tdw, Built 2010 Jiangdong Shipyard, Ice class 1A, 3HH, 665 TEU, cranes 2 x 150 tons, MaK) and sister “BBC ARIZONA” (also 2010) have obtained US$ 7 million each with ss/dd due.
LR2s – in an order driven by Shell, Bocomm Leasing, China is ordering up to twelve 120,000 dwt dual-fuelled tankers at Chinese yards, eight at GSI and four at SWS at a price of US$ 54 million each with 2022 deliveries. Shell will take the vessels on 15-year bareboat charters.
Shuttle tankers – AET has ordered three of 160,000 dwt at Samsung for a total contract price of US$ 299 million against 10-15 year charters to Petrobras at reg. 48,000 pd.
Chemical tankers – one option one of 40,000 dwt ordered by MOL at Hyundai Mipo, price US$ 38 million for delivery 2Q2021. 
Containers – Greathorse Tiger, run by former Seaspan executives, has placed an order with Yangzijiang for two option six 14,000 TEU dual fuel container vessels at US$ 110 million each, deliveries from mid 2022.
